Pakistani Exporters to Participate in Spring Fair 2009

 

The Economic and Trade Division of Pakistan Consulate, Manchester and Trade Development Authority Pakistan will organize a grand exhibition of Pakistani products at the Annual Spring Festival, to be held at the National Exhibition Centre, Birmingham from 1st to 5th February 2009.

 

This is for the first time ever that Pakistan will participate in this grand event which is held on yearly basis. In the year 2008 more than 70,000 visitors attended this event. Over 147 countries across the world promoted their products last year through this fair.

 

Among many products to be exhibited in the festival, the main focus would be on arts, furniture, lighting, home furnishings, textiles, interior accessories, jewellery, leather gifts, luggage, handbags and toys

 

Pakistan will primarily be focusing on the promotion of its jewellery and textile sectors this time, based on the keen interest shown by the exporters of these products to participate in the event. There will be more than 15 stalls of both jewellery and textile displaying the exclusive collection of Pakistani exporters in hall 18 and 20 respectively.

 

It is expected to be a major international marketing campaign which will give the Pakistani exporters an opportunity to meet thousands of high-spending retailers from all corners of the UK and other countries of the world and it will lead to bringing in significant business for Pakistan.

 

Buyers, retailers, importers and general public are invited to attend this exhibition to look at Pakistan’s products and for placing orders.
