Nominations invited for National Youth Award

 

Ministry of Youth Affairs confers National Youth Award to the youth of the country between the age of 15-29 years with the objective to recognize the achievements of young people in their lives in various fields and to volunteers working for the welfare and development of youth, every year. The investiture ceremony shall be held on the occasion of International Youth Day i.e. 12^th August, 2010.

 

The award shall comprise of shield and a certificate accompanied by a monetary award of Rs.50,000/-. The award shall be conferred on the youth in the fields of Literature, Culture, Education, Science and Technology, Sports, business, Community Service, Media, Qirat & Naat, Management Science, Agriculture, Computer Science & Information Technology, Environment, Technicians, Paramedics & Skilled Workers and Award for Special working for the welfare of the youth.
