The Government of Pakistan through the Private Power &
Infrastructure Board (PPIB) has launched an International Competitive Bidding
(ICB) contest for the implementation of 1,200 MW of additional power generating
capacity on a Fast-Track basis.
The ICB represents a unique opportunity for investors
to participate in the power sector in Pakistan. The winning bidders will
be provided with full support to ensure that they are able to establish their
projects within the stipulated timeframes.
